CONEJO RECREATION AND PARK DISTRICT <br />BOARD OF DIRECTORS REGULAR MEETING <br />January 8, 1998 <br />7:30 P.M. <br />GOEBEL SENIOR ADULT CENTER <br />MINUTES <br />1. CALL TO ORDER AND FLAG SALUTE <br />Chair Jacobsen called the meeting to order at 7:34 p.m., and led the flag salute. <br />2. ROLL CALL <br />Directors Present: Berger, Gillette, Holt, Jacobsen, and Lange <br />Directors Absent: None <br />Staff Present: General Manager Ward, Administrators Jorgensen, Sorensen, and <br />Washington, and Executive Secretary Ohren <br />3. SPECIAL PRESENTATIONS <br />Annual Recreation Division Service Awards <br />Recipients: Recreation Coordinator Scott Buchanan, Recreation Leader Patty <br />Hamm and Recreation Leader Sherry Woosley <br />Annual Parks and Planning Division Service Award <br />Recipient. Groundsworker 1 Robert Nunes <br />Washington and Sorensen introduced the recipients, presented overviews of their <br />professional and academic accomplishments, and thanked them for their efforts. On <br />behalf of the District and Board, Jacobsen presented awards and praised the <br />recipients' contributions to the District. Board members and Ward congratulated the <br />recipients and thanked them for their hard work, dedication, and loyalty to the <br />District. <br />Jacobsen recessed the meeting at 7:47 p.m. and reconvened at 7:55 p.m. <br />
