CONEJO RECREATION AND PARK DISTRICT <br />BOARD OF DIRECTORS REGULAR MEETING <br />APRIL 22, 1999 <br />7;30 P.M. <br />GOEBEL SENIOR ADULT CENTER <br />MINUTES <br />1. CALL TO ORDER AND FLAG SALUTE <br />Chair Holt called the meeting to order at 7:33 p.m., and Washington led the flag <br />salute. <br />2. ROLL CALL <br />Directors Present: Berger, Gibson, Holt, Jacobsen, and Lange <br />Berger arrived at 7:33 p.m. <br />Jacobsen arrived at 7:50 p.m. <br />Directors Absent: None <br />Staff Present: General Manager Ward, Administrators Jorgensen, Sorensen, and <br />Washington, Recreation, RSVP Coordinator Lichtenstein, Park Operations Analyst <br />Palermo, Recreation Leader Nussmeier, and Executive Secretary Ohren <br />3. SPECIAL PRESENTATIONS <br />"Old Kranks" Bicycle Club - Marie Lichtenstein <br />Lichtenstein identified examples of special activities conducted at Goebel Center <br />and introduced Marie Nussmeier. Nussmeier presented an overview of her duties <br />as recreation leader for the club and introduced Herb Berger and Carter McIntyre <br />who reviewed the founding and history of the club, thanked Mark Schrock and staff <br />for their support, and discussed club goals, recent activities and accomplishments <br />of members. <br />Board members expressed their interest in the club's activities and members. <br />4. ITEMS FROM THE PUBLIC <br />Barbara Kloster stated her respect for Sorensen and staff, and her opposition to <br />
