CONEJO RECREATION AND PARK DISTRICT <br />BOARD OF DIRECTORS REGULAR MEETING <br />JANUARY 7, 1999 <br />7:30 P.M. <br />GOEBEL SENIOR ADULT CENTER <br />MINUTES <br />1. CALL TO ORDER AND FLAG SALUTE <br />Chair Lange called the meeting to order at 7:35 p.m. and led the flag salute. <br />2. ROLL CALL <br />Directors Present: Berger, Gibson, Holt, Jacobsen, and Lange <br />Directors Absent: None <br />Staff Present: General Manager Ward, Administrators Jorgensen, Sorensen, and <br />Washington, Recreation Managers Lindsey and Wiley, and Executive Secretary <br />Ohren <br />3. SPECIAL PRESENTATIONS <br />Annual Recreation Division Service Awards <br />Annual Parks And Planning Division Service Awards <br />Recipients: Scott Engel Conejo Center/Outdoor Supervisor <br />Marie Lichtenstein RSVPIGSAC Coordinator <br />Meryl Smith Recreation Leader <br />Mary Jo Diefenthaler Administrative Clerk <br />Rick Tucker Groundsworker II <br />Washington and Sorensen introduced the recipients, presented overviews of their <br />professional and academic accomplishments, and thanked them for their efforts. <br />On behalf of the District and Board, Lange presented awards to the recipients. <br />Board members and Ward congratulated the recipients, thanked them for their <br />professionalism, and expressed pride in the caliber of District employees. <br />Lange recessed the meeting at 7:53 p.m. and reconvened at 8:01 p.m. <br />4. ITEMS FROM THE PUBLIC <br />S. APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br />Ward recommended that the agenda be modified such that Item B.D. immediately <br />follow Item 8.A. <br />
