CONEJO RECREATION AND PARK DISTRICT <br />BOARD OF DIRECTORS REGULAR MEETING <br />MAY 10, 2001 <br />7:30 P.M. <br />GOEBEL SENIOR ADULT CENTER <br />MINUTES <br />1. CALL TO ORDER AND FLAG SALUTE <br />Chair Gibson called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m., and Berger led the flag salute. <br />2. ROLL CALL <br />Directors Present: Berger, Gibson, Holt, Jacobsen, and Lange <br />Directors Absent: None <br />Staff Present: General Manager Ward, Administrators Jorgensen and Sorensen, <br />Recreation Services Manager Wiley, and Executive Secretary Ohren <br />3. SPECIAL PRESENTATIONS <br />Goebel Senior Adult Center — Conejo Valley Adult Education Program — <br />Mark Schrock <br />Schrock introduced Alan Kirsch, Coordinator of Counseling and Administrative <br />Services of the Conejo Valley Adult Education Program, who presented an overview <br />of the program. He identified and discussed many of the adult education classes, <br />including art, dance, exercise, quilting, Spanish language, and swimming. He <br />praised the partnership with the District, and commended Schrock. <br />Gibson wished Kirsch and the program continued success. <br />4. ITEMS FROM THE PUBLIC <br />S. APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br />It was moved by Holt, seconded by Lange, and carried 5-0, to approve the <br />agenda as presented. <br />
