She said that the fall brochure will be mailed beginning August 2 <br />and internet registration begins August 6. <br />Gibson commended Scott and Recreation Manager Lindsey for their efforts <br />with the Neighborhoods for Learning program. <br />Jacobsen stated his concern about the excessive decibel level of the recent <br />Gregg Wright concert, and said that he observed that some attendees left <br />early. Scott said that a decibel meter has been purchased, and, in the future, <br />staff will determine and stipulate the appropriate decibel level to the <br />performing artists. <br />Jacobsen requested a summary of community attitudes about the concert <br />series. <br />C. Administration Division Report <br />In response to Gibson's inquiry, Jorgensen discussed several liability issues. <br />D. General Manager's Report <br />Ward reported that there has been no resolution on the State budget <br />process, it is anticipated that Board meetings will be moved to Hillcrest <br />Center in September, and, as requested, information relative to District <br />agreements is being prepared and will be presented to the Board in the near <br />future. <br />E. Directors' Reports <br />Holt highlighted the recent Conejo Valley Historical Society celebration, <br />which, she said, was to thank the District for its continued support, and, <br />specifically, for the addition of a restroom facility. Lange acknowledged the <br />positive, collaborative effort between the two organizations. <br />12. REQUEST FOR STATUS REPORTS AND ITEMS FOR SUBSEQUENT <br />AGENDAS <br />Gibson suggested that at the time Conejo Valley Activities Corporation <br />makes its next facilities' request, they be asked to provide a financial report of <br />the event. <br />
