June 20, 2002 <br />Page 3 <br />completed, renovation of lighting at Borchard Park is planned for this year, <br />and subsequent renovation of all lighted facilities will be an ongoing project <br />for the next several years. <br />In response to Gibson's inquiry, Sorensen provided background information <br />relative to the development of Conejo Creek South, and said that the goal is <br />to complete grading as soon as possible, meet with the Planning Commission <br />the first meeting in September, and it is hoped that construction can begin in <br />October. <br />Chuck Huffer, representing AYSO, stated his concern relative to the <br />slippage in schedule for Conejo Creek South, and said there is a great need <br />for expanded facilities to meet the growing needs of area children, and he <br />appreciated the District's past support. <br />It was moved by Gibson, seconded by Holt, and carred 5-0 to approve <br />the Master Plan revisions. <br />Staff clarified that adjustments to the Master Plan can be made until approval <br />of the final budget in August. <br />Jacobsen continued the Public Hearing to the next regular meeting. <br />B. Approval Of Allocations From Unallocated Amount In 403 W. Hillcrest <br />Amenity/Moving Budget <br />Jorgensen identified a modification to staff recommendation, specifically to <br />reduce the contingency fund to $11,672 and add $6,000 for trash <br />receptacles. Sorensen added that trash receptacles are needed throughout <br />the Hillcrest facility, and the cost is $5,200. <br />In response to Jacobsen's inquiry, Jorgensen clarified that the phone system <br />has an automated portion, but the initial, primary response is by an operator. <br />It was moved by Gibson, seconded by Lange, and carried 5-0 to <br />approve the allocations to the unallocated amount in the 403 W. <br />Hillcrest amenity/moving budget as modified; i.e. reduce contingency <br />fund to $11,672, and add $6,000 for trash receptacles. <br />8.
