February 7, 2002 <br />Page 6 <br />In response to Lange's inquiry, Sorensen said that as a result of a complaint <br />about problems experienced during renovation work on the large dog portion <br />of the dog park facility, staff contacted the citizen and discussed the problem. <br />Sorensen said that the entire facility was subsequently closed for two days <br />during the work project, it is again operational, and staff is considering <br />modifying signage to facilitate self -policing of dog types and sizes. <br />Lange said that, in the future, closure announcements should be posted as <br />expeditiously as possible, and an interested support organization for the site <br />would be very desirable.
