December 18, 2003 <br />Page 2 <br />Gibson said that he chairs CSAPA, it has been reconstituted as CCfYF (Conejo <br />Coalition for Youth and Families), an advisory committee will be reformed, and he <br />encouraged Quidwai to contact Lindsey to get reinvolved. <br />5. APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br />It was moved by Berger, seconded by Jacobsen, and carried 5-0, to approve <br />the agenda as presented. <br />6. CONSENT CALENDAR <br />A. Approval Of Minutes Of December 4, 2003 Meeting <br />B. Approval Of Warrants, Exhibit A <br />Accounts Payable Check Registers Total $281,914.75 <br />Payroll Total $238,883.38 <br />Gibson noted that on Page 1 of the December 4 minutes under Special <br />Presentations, the sentence beginning, "Gibson commended the..." <br />should be modified to read "Board members commended the Volunteers in <br />Policing Program." <br />It was moved by Gibson, seconded by Holt, and carried 4-0, with <br />Jacobsen abstaining, to approve the Consent Calendar as modified. <br />7. DEFERRED MATTERS <br />None <br />8. NEW ITEMS <br />A. Annual Audit Report And Acceptance Of Report On Financial <br />Statements For Year Ending June 30, 2003 <br />Jorgensen highlighted the audit report, identified and discussed salient <br />points, and noted explanations for capital assets depreciation, and <br />compensated absences. He said this is the first year the District has had to <br />comply with the provisions of GASB 34; this involves rolling up or adding <br />together the detail of all funds classified as General Government <br />(Government Activities) onto one statement of net assets; the District has <br />valued all its fixed assets in excess of $5,000 with a depreciation schedule; <br />the District has not provided a Management Discussion and Analysis <br />
