September 4, 2003 <br />Page 7 <br />meeting, discussion included the proposed Rancho Potrero equestrian <br />center, which presents many complex issues. <br />Concluding, Ward said that the unexpected discovery of structural problems <br />at the Willow Bend pavilion, Conejo Creek North, necessitated the sudden <br />relocation of some previously scheduled patron events, and, in spite of <br />significant staff effort, resulted in some disappointed patrons. Sorensen <br />said that specifications are being prepared, and it is expected that the <br />facility will be unavailable for approximately two months. <br />E. Directors' Reports <br />Lange thanked Ward for his participation in the well received presentation <br />at the VCSDA (Ventura County Special Districts Association) September 2 <br />meeting. <br />12. REQUEST FOR STATUS REPORTS AND ITEMS FOR SUBSEQUENT <br />AGENDAS <br />Gibson requested a presentation on risk management and Workers <br />Compensation, and stated his concern about the lack of umbrella coverage for the <br />District.
