Adoption Of Resolution 031804-A, A Resolution In Support Of "The Local <br />Taxpayer And Public Safety Protection Act" (November 2004) <br />Ward referenced the documentation, and provided background information. He <br />explained that the resolution offers support for an initiative sponsored by the <br />League of California Cities, the California State Association of Counties and the <br />California Special Districts Association, the measure is intended to increase <br />local control over local tax dollars, and to provide stability and security for local <br />government funding. Referencing the Education Revenue Augmentation Fund <br />(ERAF), he said next year it is projected that the shift of ERAF funds from <br />Conejo Recreation and Park District will reach $1,467,262, without any <br />additional shifts. <br />
