General Manager's Report <br />Friedl reported that staff met with representatives of American Youth Soccer <br />Organization (AYSO) and Conejo Valley Unified School District (CVUSD) to <br />discuss the Conejo Creek South parking lot project; the project will <br />commence after Conejo Valley Days, 2007, and staff will return to the <br />Board for necessary approvals as the project advances. Additionally, he <br />said staff met with representatives of the City of Thousand Oaks and <br />California Lutheran University (CLU) to discuss the proposed pool; and an <br />issue regarding CLU's goal of a campus wide parking system needs <br />addressing. <br />Friedl thanked Lewanda and Benton for their hard work, highlighted aspects <br />of the state budget relative to special districts, and noted La Fiesta del <br />Triunfo on July 8. <br />Concluding, Friedl said a fire of approximately 100 acres had erupted earlier <br />in the day and continues near Lake Sherwood, and Equestrian Volunteer <br />Rescue Team (EVRT) was activated. <br />E.
