4. <br />CONEJO RECREATION AND PARK DISTRICT <br />BOARD OF DIRECTORS REGULAR MEETING <br />FEBRUARY 2, 2006 <br />7:30 P.M. <br />HILLCREST CENTER <br />MINUTES <br />CALL TO ORDER AND FLAG SALUTE <br />Chair Gibson called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m., and Supervisor Lukes <br />led the flag salute. <br />2. ROLL CALL <br />Directors Present: Berger, Gibson, Holt, Jacobsen and Lange <br />Directors Absent: None <br />Staff Present: Assistant General Manager Friedl, Administrators Benton and <br />Lewanda, Recreation Supervisor Lukes, and Executive Secretary Ohren <br />3. SPECIAL PRESENTATIONS <br />Young Athlete Award <br />Thousand Oaks High School Girls Cross Country Team <br />Lynne Fletcher Allie Lopez <br />Kaitlyn Sullivan Miranda Houston <br />Assistant Coaches Jan Radnoti and Josh Carolan <br />Nina Su <br />Megan Meyer <br />Alix-Ann Kiitka <br />Gibson welcomed players, coaches, parents, Principal Tim Carpenter, Assistant <br />Coach Josh Carolan and fans of the team. Holt and Jacobsen highlighted the <br />accomplishments of the athletes and Robert Radnoti, who served as Head Coach <br />of Cross Country and Track and Field at Thousand Oaks High School until last <br />month when he accepted a coaching position at Pepperdine University. In his <br />absence, Assistant Coach Jan Radnoti thanked the Board of Directors, staff, and <br />specifically Lukes, for their dedication, interest and commitment. She introduced <br />team members, cited their athletic achievements, praised their winning attitude, <br />recognized the coaching staff, acknowledged Principal Carpenter for his support, <br />and presented memorabilia to Board members. On behalf of the Board, Lange <br />and Jacobsen presented medals to team members and coaching staff. <br />
