CONEJO RECREATION AND PARK DISTRICT <br />BOARD OF DIRECTORS REGULAR MEETING <br />MARCH 1, 2007 <br />7:30 P.M. <br />HILLCREST CENTER <br />MINUTES <br />1, CALL TO ORDER AND FLAG SALUTE <br />Chair Jacobsen called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m., and led the flag salute. <br />2. ROLL CALL <br />Directors Present: Berger, Gibson, Holt, Jacobsen and Lange <br />Directors Absent: None <br />Staff Present: General Manager Friedl, Administrators Benton, Hare and Lewanda, <br />and Executive Assistant Ohren <br />3. SPECIAL PRESENTATIONS <br />Ennployee Recognition Award - Patricia Davis <br />JaconSf.n welcomed Davis. Benton recognized the honoree, presented an <br />overview of her professional and academic accomplishments, and thanked her for <br />her efforts. On behalf of the District and Board, Jacobsen and Friedl presented an <br />award to Davis. Board members offered congratulations and expressed <br />appreciation for her hard work and dedication. <br />COSCA Geographic Information System (GIS) - Mary Anne Van Zuyle, City of <br />Thousand Oaks <br />Zuyle thanked the Board for the opportunity to speak. Sne highlighted the GIS <br />system and spoke of its uses at COSCA and its potential use by the District. She <br />displayed sample maps and provided analyses. She noted 70 percent of <br />residential parcels are within one half mile from an open space access point and <br />98 percent of resideniaal parcels are within one mile of an open space access <br />point. <br />Jacobsen thanked Zu}le for the presentation. <br />
