ROLL CALL <br />Directors Present: Berger. Gibson, Holt, Jacobsen and Lange <br />Directors Absent: None <br />Staff Present: General Manager Friedl, Administrators Hare and Lewanda, <br />Recreation Managers Lindsey and Wiley, Parks Superintendent Marchesano, and <br />Executive Assistant Ohren <br />3. SPECIAL PRESENTATIONS <br />A. Conejo Valley Botanic Garden Presentation <br />Jean Riley thanked the District for the opportunity to address the Board and <br />introduced Barbara Strong, treasurer, who provided a presentation on the <br />Botanic Garden. She invited everyone to visit the Garden, and highlighted <br />the organization's background, needs, funding, recent accomplishments, <br />site components, and near and long term goals. She emphasized the <br />importance of volunteers and expressed appreciation to Conejo Recreation <br />& Park District for its support. <br />Board members stated their appreciation for the presentation and all those <br />who are associated with the Botanic Garden. <br />B.
