The Spring <br />Eggstravaganza is scheduled for March 15 at Conejo Creek Playfieids, a <br />free Open Space Appreciation Hike is scheduled at Wildwood Park on <br />March 15; a St. Patrick's Day Dance for 7 h and 8"' grade middle school <br />teens is scheduled for March 15; a free seminar exploring the historical <br />facts surrounding the Holocaust will be held on Thursday, March 13 at the <br />Goebel Senior Adult Center; and on March 18 at the Goebel Center, <br />attendees, 60 and older, will receive a six-month supply of vitamins at the <br />Centrum Vitamin Giveaway. <br />C. Management Services Division Report <br />No report. <br />D. General Manager's Report <br />Friedl highlighted the California Association of Recreation and Park Districts <br />(CARPD) Legislative Committee meeting he attended earlier in the day, and <br />said that the focus in Sacramento continues to be the budget. He noted the <br />upcoming Conejo Valley Days Parade. <br />He said that, at the request of Supervisor Parks, he attended a recent <br />meeting of the Open Space Acquisition Roundtable attended by <br />approximately 30 people. <br />E. Directors' Reports <br />Gibson highlighted the upcoming CARPD Conference in Monterey and said <br />that the California Special Districts Association (CSDA) preliminary program <br />agenda has been prepared for the Irvine conference in the fall. <br />Lange said that the Santa Monica Mountains Conservancy Advisory <br />Committee reelected Don Robertson as Chair and him as vice chair. <br />Lange said that the Ventura County Special Districts Association (VCSDA) <br />website has been upgraded and now features streaming video of several <br />districts. <br />F.
