Parks Division Report <br />Hare stated that staff continues to work with consultants responsible for the <br />Lang Ranch Community Park supplemental Environmental Impact Report <br />(EIR), and it is expected that the document will be circulated to the public in <br />March. <br />Staff has been meeting with representatives of California Lutheran <br />University (CLU), regarding the pool agreement, and it is hoped that a <br />proposed agreement will be presented to the Board on March 6. <br />To celebrate playground improvements and the addition of NEOS, <br />electronic gaming in outdoor space, there will be a ribbon cutting ceremony <br />at Conejo Creek North on March 29. <br />B. Recreation Division Report <br />Benton highlighted upcoming recreation events. The Ventura County <br />Gilbert & Sullivan Repertoire Company's presentation of The Mikado at <br />Hillcrest Center Theatre on the Hill will be presented March 7 through 30. <br />The 21st Annual Spring Arts & Crafts Festival is scheduled for March 8 and <br />9 and the Space Shuttle Cafe, a converted DC 10 jet, will be on site for <br />refreshments. The Therapeutic Unit will host an excursion to the "Rock the <br />Oaks" teen concert at the Civic Arts Plaza on February 29. <br />C. Management Services Division Report <br />No report. <br />D. General Manager's Report <br />Friedl highlighted the recent CARPD Legislative Committee meeting and <br />noted that the focus in Sacramento is on the budget. He said the next <br />meeting is scheduled for March 6. He noted the Ventura County Civic <br />Alliance Sponsor Celebration on March 6, 2008, and Gibson urged support <br />of the event. <br />E.
