December 3, 2009 <br />Page 3 <br />Holt and Short welcomed the team and highlighted the team's achievements and <br />experiences, and identified head coaches Schlobohm and Shelton. The coaches introduced <br />the players, cheerleaders and volunteers. On behalf of the Board, Holt and Short presented <br />awards to all involved. Board members congratulated the players, and thanked families, <br />friends, volunteers and staff for their assistance. Schlobohm, Shelton, and Laufenberg <br />thanked Board members and staff for their support. <br />5. APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br />It was moved by Jacobsen, seconded by Short, and carried 5-0, to approve the <br />agenda as presented. <br />6. CONSENT CALENDAR <br />A. Approval of Minutes of November 19, 2009 Meeting <br />B. Approval of Warrants, Exhibit A <br />Accounts Payable Check Registers Total $68,694.26 <br />Payroll Total $398,901.44 <br />It was moved by Lange, seconded by Gibson, and carried 5-0, to approve the Consent <br />Calendar. <br />7. DEFERRED MATTERS <br />None <br />8. NEW ITEMS <br />A. Resolution Number 120309-A Authorizing an Amendment to the Contract <br />between CalPERS and Conejo Recreation & Park District <br />Lewanda stated that this is the final step in the adopted Memorandum of <br />Understanding dated July 9, 2009, to amend the contract with CaIPERS to provide <br />retirement benefits with a formula of 2% at 60 for new employees. <br />
