CONEJO RECREATION AND PARK DISTRICT <br />BOARD OF DIRECTORS REGULAR MEETING <br />DECEMBER 3, 2009 <br />7:30 PM <br />HILLCREST CENTER <br />MINUTES <br />1. CALL TO ORDER AND FLAG SALUTE <br />Chair Holt called the meeting to order at 7:30 P.M. and Lewanda led the flag salute. <br />2. ROLL CALL <br />Directors Present: Gibson, Holt, Jacobsen, Lange, Short <br />Directors Absent: <br />Staff Present: General Manager Friedl, Administrators Benton, Hare and Lewanda, <br />Recreation Manager Wiley, Recreation Supervisors Laufenberg and Miller, Recreation <br />Therapist Pinson, Aquatics Program Director Pearson, Human Resources Supervisor <br />Howell, and Executive Assistant Ohren <br />4. ITEMS FROM THE PUBLIC <br />3. SPECIAL PRESENTATION <br />Employee Recognition Awards <br />Shauna Welty 20 yrs Mike McAdam 15 yrs <br />An overview of each employee honored was presented, including professional and <br />academic achievements. On behalf of the Board and staff, Friedl and Howell presented <br />awards to the honorees. <br />Senior staff and Board members commended and thanked the honorees. <br />Honorees thanked staff, management and the Board of Directors for their support, and <br />spoke of their pride and satisfaction in being part of Conejo Recreation and Park District. <br />SCMAF (Southern California Municipal Athletic Federation) Award for Design of <br />Community Pool at California Lutheran University <br />On behalf of SCMAF, Miller presented the award to Chair Holt, who accepted the award on <br />behalf of the Board of Directors and staff. <br />
