CONEJO RECREATION AND PARK DISTRICT <br />BOARD OF DIRECTORS REGULAR MEETING <br />MARCH 12, 2009 <br />7:30 PM <br />HILLCREST CENTER <br />MINUTES <br />1. CALL TO ORDER AND FLAG SALUTE <br />Chair Holt called the meeting to order at 7:31 P.M. and Friedl led the flag salute. <br />2. ROLL CALL <br />Directors Present: Gibson, Holt, Jacobsen, Lange, Short <br />Directors Absent: None <br />Staff Present: General Manager Friedl; Administrators Benton, Hare and Lewanda; <br />Recreation Manager Wiley, Human Resources Supervisor Howell, Parks <br />Superintendant Kouba, Recreation Supervisor Lukes, and Executive Assistant <br />Ohren <br />4. ITEMS FROM THE PUBLIC <br />Sarah Mancroft, Thousand Oaks, stated her support of District efforts concerning <br />Lang Ranch Community Park. <br />Andre' Perrin, stated his support of District efforts concerning Lang Ranch <br />Community Park. <br />3. SPECIAL PRESENTATION <br />ACCV Art Bus — Kitty Dill <br />Dill noted the 40' anniversary of the Arts Council of Conejo Valley (ACCV) and <br />identified upcoming cultural events. Dill also distributed documentation, and <br />highlighted the March 20 Art Bus event, noting the three art venues which will be <br />featured. <br />Equestrian Trails Incorporated (ETI) Report — Barbara Kloster <br />Kloster, Thousand Oaks, Corral 37, Equestrian Trails Incorporated (ETI), <br />expressed appreciation for the District's long time support. She introduced ETI <br />Board members Jennifer Walton, Teri Young, Julie Lindberg, Tami Schoenhouser, <br />and Christine McQuaid, who provided a slide presentation of ETI activities, <br />participants and events. <br />
