September 16, 2010 <br />Page 5 <br />D. General Manager's Report <br />Friedl noted the positive article in the Star regarding District facilities. <br />The Sports Summit was held on September 15, turnout was good and the meeting <br />resulted in a good exchange of information, including field allocation issues. At the <br />recent LAFCO meeting the District's Municipal Service Review was again approved, <br />but the potential annexation of the Rancho Potrero site failed to pass. District staff <br />will work with the City staff so the matter may be reheard by LAFCO. <br />Concluding, Friedl noted that he will attend the California Special Districts <br />Association (CSDA) conference next week, and in his absence, Hare will be Acting <br />General Manager. <br />E. Directors' Reports <br />Lange said he was pleased to have attended the recent Day of the Horse. Holt and <br />Short said they too attended. <br />F. Follow -Up Reports on MeetingslConferences Attended <br />12. REQUEST FOR STATUS REPORTS AND ITEMS FOR SUBSEQUENT AGENDAS <br />Lange requested that a joint meeting involving the Boards of the Rancho Simi <br />Recreation and Park District, Pleasant Valley Recreation and Park District, and CRPD <br />be arranged. <br />13.
