D. SOUND <br />The sound recordings were conducted three times per day: morning, noon, and <br />evening. They were not exact times because that gave the District representative <br />the flexibility to successfully count all cars and park visitors before measuring the <br />sound levels. Each time the District representative measured the sound levels, he <br />walked around the park, and three recordings were made. The recordings were <br />taken at different locations throughout the park to ensure diverse and accurate data <br />readings. <br />The 2015 study, as compared to the 2014 study, shows similar patterns and <br />numbers for Kimber Park sound levels. It should be noted that most of the highs <br />came from loud, passing cars, and none came from barking dogs. <br />81 <br />
