December 1, 2011 <br />Page 2 <br />Directors congratulated and thanked recipients for their contributions and efforts on <br />the District's behalf. <br />The meeting was recessed at 7:50 pm, and reconvened at 7:58 p.m. <br />"Home School Enrichment Academy" — Thousand Oaks Community Center — <br />Melissa Nesbitt <br />Nesbitt, Thousand Oaks Community Center Recreation Supervisor, presented a <br />brief overview of the history of the Home School Enrichment Academy, which <br />began in fall of 2010. She then introduced Andrew Young, Recreation Specialist at <br />TOC, who gave more details of the program, which is held at the Cameron Center. <br />A brief slide show was then played, illustrating a wide variety of classes for students <br />of varying ages and interests. <br />Board members thanked Nesbitt and Young for their informative presentation. <br />4.
