Amendment #1 to Memorandum of Understanding with Conejo Disc <br />Golf Club for Use of Rabbit Flats Disc Golf Course <br />Hare introduced Mike Byrne, President of the Conejo Disc Golf Club. <br />Byrne highlighted activities at the Rabbit Flats Disc Golf Course and <br />presented a video showcasing the recent professionally -sanctioned <br />tournament held there. He thanked the District for their support and <br />answered questions from Board members. <br />It was moved by Holt, seconded by Gibson, and carried 5-0 to <br />authorize General Manager to enter into Amendment #1 to <br />Memorandum of Understanding with Conejo Disc Golf Club for Use of <br />Rabbit Flats Disc Golf Course. <br />B. Award Bid for Borchard Park Waterline & Fire Hydrant Project <br />Hare briefly presented a history of the project, which was originally bid in <br />June 2011, but was re -bid due to various site conditions and permit <br />requirements by Cal Am that changed the project, requiring changes to the <br />scope of work. The low bid of $79,156 received from Sam Hill and Sons <br />meets all the required specifications. <br />It was moved by Lange, seconded by Holt, and carried 5-0 to award bid <br />to Sam Hill and Sons, Inc. for Borchard Park Waterline & Fire Hydrant <br />Project. <br />C. Support of S.R. 23/U.S. 101 Regional Corridor Improvement <br />Friedl referenced the City of Thousand Oaks' request that the District show <br />its support for "S.R. 23/U.S. 101 Regional Corridor Improvement." He <br />introduced Mina Layba, Legislative Affairs Manager, City Manager's Office <br />to provide additional information on the "TIGER" Grant. Layba answered <br />various Board member's questions regarding the request. <br />
