Borchard Park Waterline and Hydrant Improvements <br />Hare explained the justification for a rejection of bids, as outlined in his <br />report. The project will go out for re -bid and the plan is for the work to be <br />performed between fall and winter programs. <br />It was moved by Jones, seconded by Gibson, and carried 5-0, to reject <br />all bids and authorize staff to rebid the project after appropriate <br />adjustments to the bid documents. <br />10. Annual Master Plan Update and Capital Improvement Projects Status <br />Report for Fiscal Year 2010-2011 <br />11. DEPARTMENT REPORTS <br />A. Parks Division Report <br />Hare reminded Board members of the September 1St due date for <br />submission of their Photo Contest judging sheets. The Disc Golf tournament <br />held at Rabbit Flats last Saturday was very well attended with 77 participants <br />representing a wide geographic area. The McCrea Ranch project is <br />wrapping up. Hare recently viewed the 12 minute video on the history of the <br />Ranch and plans on presenting it to the Board on September 1St. Hare, <br />Wyatt McCrea and a consultant will be traveling to Toledo, Ohio to give final <br />approval on the Visitor Center exhibits; these exhibits will be moved to the <br />Ranch for installation prior to the ribbon cutting. <br />B. Recreation Division Report <br />Lindsey reported summer programs are winding down. The fall brochure will <br />be mailed next week and registration will begin on August 1St. "Chicago," the <br />Young Artists Ensemble summer musical, begins its run this weekend. <br />C.
