June 2, 2011 <br />Page 2 <br />6. CONSENT CALENDAR <br />A. Approval of Minutes of May 19, 2011 Meeting <br />B. Approval of Warrants, Exhibit A <br />Accounts Payable Check Registers Total $537,566.07 <br />Payroll Total $393,918.42 <br />C. Adopt Resolution 060211 A Setting the 2011-2012 Appropriation Subject to Limitation <br />D. Approval of New World Systems Maintenance Contract in the amount of $30,839 for <br />FY 2011-12. <br />It was moved by Holt, seconded by Gibson, and carried 5-0, to approve the <br />Consent Calendar as presented. <br />7. DEFERRED MATTERS <br />A. Public Hearing Proposed Budget for Fiscal Years 2011-12 & 2012-13 <br />Lewanda presented the Proposed Budget and followed up with a PowerPoint <br />presentation highlighting budget particulars. Various questions by board members <br />were addressed. Gibson thanked staff for adjusting the capital projects budget to <br />address concerns from the last meeting. <br />The public hearing was continued to the next regular meeting. on June 16th, when it will <br />be brought back to the Board for final review and adoption. <br />8. ITEMS FOR DISCUSSION <br />None <br />9. NEW ITEMS <br />A. Adoption of Resolution No. 060211-B Adopting a Negative Declaration and Making <br />Findings Relating to the Approval of an Updated Master Plan for the Conejo <br />Recreation and Park District <br />Hare presented the Updated Master Plan and summarized its development. Some slight <br />changes have been made since the January meeting when it was first presented for <br />review. No comments were received during the public comment period for the Negative <br />Declaration. Hare stated this is a dynamic document; minor updates will be made, as <br />needed, in the future. Plans and objectives will be reviewed on a more regular basis, as <br />well. Staff was thanked for their work on this project, particularly Park Planner Welty and <br />Park Operations Analyst Bill Palermo. <br />
