September 20, 2012 <br />Page 3 <br />Commission members and making slight modifications to the number of positions on <br />the Designated Positions list. <br />Holt moved, Jacobsen seconded, and it carried 5-0, to adopt Resolution <br />092012-A, adopting the Conflict of Interest Code for the Conejo Recreation and <br />Park District, that it be read in name only and authorize General Manager to <br />forward the amendment to the Clerk of the Ventura County Board of <br />Supervisors. <br />D. Memorandum of Understanding with Play Conejo, Inc. <br />Friedl provided background on the concept and formation of Play Conejo and its <br />purpose of supporting parks and recreation in the Conejo Valley. <br />Chuck Huffer, Thousand Oaks, representing AYSO Region 9, asked what the <br />relationship would be between Play Conejo and other non-profit organizations in the <br />community, indicating a concern over a competition for limited charitable dollars. <br />Friedl said the District is mindful of this concern and not looking to take away from <br />other organizations. <br />Gibson moved, Jacobsen seconded, and it carried 5-0 to authorize Chair to <br />enter into Memorandum of Understanding with Play Conejo, Inc. <br />10.
