CONEJO RECREATION AND PARK DISTRICT <br />BOARD OF DIRECTORS REGULAR MEETING <br />September 20, 2012 <br />7:30 PM <br />HILLCREST CENTER <br />MINUTES <br />1. CALL TO ORDER AND FLAG SALUTE <br />Lange called the meeting to order at 7:33 p.m. and Ricketts led the flag salute. <br />2. ROLL CALL <br />Directors Present: Gibson, Holt, Jacobsen, Jones, Lange <br />Directors Absent: <br />Staff Present: General Manager Friedl, Administrators Hare, Lewanda and Lindsey, <br />Executive Assistant Reynders <br />3. SPECIAL PRESENTATIONS <br />Borchard Center — Summer Teen Volunteer Program <br />Patty Hamm, Recreation Supervisor, greeted Board members and introduced Patti Ricketts, <br />Recreation Coordinator. Hamm's presentation outlined the Borchard Community Center's <br />Summer Teen Volunteer Program, highlighting the hiring process and the many benefits <br />realized by both the volunteers and the children they serve. <br />Board members thanked Hamm for her informative presentation and commended her and <br />her staff for their hard work. <br />4. ITEMS FROM THE PUBLIC <br />None <br />5. APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br />It was moved by Holt, seconded by Jacobsen, and carried 5-0 to approve the agenda <br />as presented. <br />6.
