September 6, 2012 <br />Page 3 <br />Hare introduced .Jonathan Kramer, CTO Radio Frequency Engineer. <br />Kramer outlined FCC radio frequency exposure rules and standards, and <br />gave background on how FCC standards are set for public protection. <br />Hare introduced Walter Gaworecki representing T -Mobile who outlined <br />facility specifics and noted that exposure is well below the FCC limit. <br />Discussion ensued regarding specifics of the projects. <br />Holt moved, Gibson seconded, and it carried 5-0 to authorize General <br />Manager to execute and option and lease agreement between T -Mobile <br />and the District for the purpose of establishing a cellular <br />communications facility at Dos Vientos Community Park. <br />B. Proposed Verizon Wireless Cellular Communications Facility at North <br />Ranch Playfield <br />Hare outlined the lease agreement between Verizon Wireless and the <br />District, and indicated that Verizon representatives Tonya Roth and Michelle <br />Nguyen were present and available for questions. <br />Jones moved, Jacobsen seconded, and it carried 5-0 to Authorize <br />General Manager to execute an option and lease agreement between <br />Verizon Wireless and the District for the purpose of establishing a <br />cellular communications facility at North Ranch Playfield. <br />C. Budget Adjustments FY 2011-2012 & 2012-2013 <br />Lewanda outlined the need for annual budget adjustments to Fiscal Years <br />2011-2012 and 2012-2013. <br />Jacobsen moved, Holt seconded, and it carried 5-0, to approve the FY <br />2011-12 and FY 2012-13 Budget Adjustments. <br />D. Award Purchase of Four Vehicles in amount of $93,679.54 <br />Hare noted that two bids were received on August 15, 2012 from Paradise <br />Chevrolet and Vista Ford. <br />Holt moved, Jacobsen seconded, and it carried 5-0 to Award purchase <br />in the total amount of $93,679.54 to Paradise Chevrolet for the <br />
