CONEJO RECREATION AND PARK DISTRICT <br />BOARD OF DIRECTORS REGULAR MEETING <br />March 1, 2012 <br />7:30 PM <br />HILLCREST CENTER <br />MINUTES <br />1. CALL TO ORDER AND FLAG SALUTE <br />Lange called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. and Lewanda led the flag salute. <br />2. ROLL CALL <br />Directors Present: Gibson, Holt, Jacobsen, Jones, Lange <br />Directors Absent: <br />Staff Present: General Manager Friedl, Administrators Hare, Lewanda and Lindsey, <br />Administrative Assistant Dickson <br />3. SPECIAL PRESENTATIONS <br />Lindsey introduced Scott Engel, Recreation Supervisor, Dos Vientos Community Center. Engel <br />gave a history and overview of the pre-school and pre -kindergarten programs at the Center and <br />shared a PowerPoint presentation showing examples of classes, activities, students, and <br />teachers. <br />Directors thanked Engel and staff for their hard work. <br />4. ITEMS FROM THE PUBLIC <br />Ross Berman, resident of Lang Ranch and President, Board of Directors, Cobblestone <br />Homeowners Association, expressed appreciation to the District for the recent Lang Ranch Park <br />Community Input Meetings. <br />5. APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br />It was moved by Jones, seconded by Jacobsen, and carried 5-0 to approve the agenda as <br />amended, i.e., to address Items 9A and 9B before Item 8A. <br />6. CONSENT CALENDAR <br />A. Approval of Minutes of February 16, 2012 Meeting <br />
