<br />Youth Commission/Youth Recognition Awards <br />5/12, 150 participants, Scherr Forum Theater, Civic Arts Plaza <br /> <br />Skate Lab and In & Out Burger Trip for Crowley House Teen Participants <br />5/25, 8 participants <br /> <br />Meetings <br />Youth Commission Meeting <br /> 5/4, 6:00pm-8:00pm <br /> <br />Youth Outreach Meeting <br /> 5/ 4, Brenda Coleman, Dan Nalbandian and Elizabeth Sorensen <br /> <br />Comments/Observations <br /> I was proud to be a part of the annual Alternative High School 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament <br />and BBQ. The tournament took place at the Thousand Oaks Teen Center. Students from Conejo <br />Valley High School, Frontier High School, Gateway High School, Pacific High School and <br />Apollo High School participated. <br /> <br />All of the student participants displayed wonderful sportsmanship, respect for other schools and <br />the basketball officials, and a sincere appreciation for the opportunity to play at the Teen Center. <br />Everyone enjoyed good competition and a delicious BBQ.
