Holt, Director <br />Joe Gibson, Director <br />Ed Jones, Director <br />GENERAL MANAGER EMERITUS <br />Tex Ward <br />TO: Board of Directors <br />FROM: Jim Friedl, General Manag <br />SUBJECT: Authorizing Signers for entura County Treasurer Pool <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Adopt Resolution No. 070716-A authorizing specific staff to order the deposit or withdrawal of <br />funds in the Ventura County Treasury Pool <br />DISCUSSION <br />In accordance with California Government Code Section 53684, and the District's investment <br />policy, the District is authorized to deposit monies not immediately necessary in local <br />government pools. <br />The District has historically participated in the Ventura County Treasury Pool and the State of <br />California Local Agency Investment Fund. <br />The County Treasurer annually requests an updated signature card of the authorized signers for <br />the Treasury Pool. This year, in addition to the updated signature card, the Treasurer has <br />requested a resolution from the Board of Directors authorizing specific signers. <br />The proposed resolution codifies existing practice. <br />STRATEGIC PLAN COMPLIANCE <br />Meets Strategic Plan Vision Statement: In order to continue to serve our community and be <br />recognized as a top recreation and park district in the nation, we must be financially stable. <br />Respectfully submitted,; <br />Sheryl.
