Holt, Director <br />Joe Gibson, Director <br />Ed Jones, Director <br />GENERAL MANAGER EMERITUS <br />Tex Ward <br />SUBJECT: Continue Public Hearing to Consider the Levy of the Annual Assessment for <br />Landscape Maintenance Districts 92-1 (Rancho Conejo) and 94-1 (Dos Vientos) to <br />June 2, 2016 <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Continue Public Hearing to consider the levy of assessments for LMD 92-1 (Rancho Conejo) <br />and LMD 94-1 (Dos Vientos) to June 2, 2016. <br />DISCUSSION <br />On April 21, 2016, the Boara of Directors adopted a Resolution of Intention to levy the <br />assessments for LMD 92-1 (Rancho Conejo) and LMD 94-1 (Dos Vientos) for the fiscal year <br />2016-17. The resolutions set the date, time and place for the Public Hearing required for the <br />levy of the annual assessments. The Notice of Public Hearing was not published in the Ventura <br />County Star in sufficient time for proper notification of the Public Hearing to consider the <br />adoption of the Resolutions. <br />STRATEGIC PLAN COMPLIANCE <br />Meets 2016 Strategic Pian Element 3.2.7: Maintain and adjust existing assessment districts and <br />evaluate the establishment of new assessment districts or similar funding mechanisms in order <br />to provide and enhance park facilities. <br />pectfully submitted by, <br />T.
