Appropriate $50,000 from Districtwide Assessment Fund Balance to Districtwide <br />Assessment Account 62-802-811-80502-002. <br />2. Authorize General Manager to enter into contract with FirstCarbon Solutions in the total <br />amount of $73,700 ($69,750 base and a contingency amount of $3,950) for Biological <br />and Permitting Tasks Services for Sapwi Trails Community Park. <br />DISCUSSION <br />Over the last several years, the District has made progress in the development of Sapwi Trails <br />Community Park. In December 2014, the Board approved resolutions adopting the <br />environmental analysis (prepared by FirstCarbon Solutions) and approving the project <br />(reference item 9A of the Board agenda at www.cfpd.orglagenda1204201 ); additionally, the <br />District entered into amendments to the contract with RRM Design Group (RRM) to carry the <br />project through on-site and off-site construction documents. <br />Starting the biological and obtaining regulatory permits will enable the District to further define <br />constraints (i.e. identifying suitable nesting trees), thus preparing a more complete and <br />comprehensive bid package as well as avoiding any regulatory permit -related delays to <br />construction. <br />ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICES <br />403 West Hillcrest Drive - Thousand Oaks, CA 91360-4223 <br />(805) 495-6471 • FAX: (805) 497-3199 • Email: parks@crpd.org • Website: www.crpd.org <br />
