Holt, Director <br />Joe Gibson, Director <br />Ed Jones, Director <br />GENERAL MANAGER EMERITUS <br />Tex Ward <br />DATE: June 2, 2016 <br />TO: Board of Directors <br />FROM: Jim Friedl, General Mana <br />SUBJECT: Public Hearing to Cons option of Resolution No. 060216-A Ordering the <br />Levy of the Annual Assessment for Landscape Maintenance District 92-1 (Rancho <br />Conejo) <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Adopt Resolution No. 060216-A ordering the levy of assessments for LMD 92-1 (Rancho <br />Conejo). <br />DISCUSSION <br />On April 21, 2016, the Board of Directors adopted a Resolution of Intention to levy the <br />assessments for LMD 92-1 (Rancho Conejo) for the fiscal year 2016-17. The resolution set the <br />date, time and place for the Public Hearing required for the levy of the annual assessments. <br />The Notice of the Public Hearing was not published in Ventura County Star in sufficient time for <br />proper notification of the May 5, 2016 Public Hearing to consider the levy of assessments for <br />LMD 92-1 (Rancho Conejo); thus, on May 5, 2016, the Board of Directors continued the Public <br />Hearing until June 2, 2016. <br />A Notice of the June 2, 2016 Public Hearing was published in Ventura County Star on May 2, <br />2016. <br />The resolution under consideration at this time confirms and approves the final Engineer's <br />Report for LMD 92-1 (available online at www.crpd.or-q/92-lER2016) and confirms the levies <br />contained therein.
