Holt, Director <br />Joe Gibson, Director <br />Ed Jones, Director <br />GENERAL MANAGER EMERITUS <br />Tex Ward <br />Approve the Mountains Recreation and Conservation Authority (MRCA) Preliminary Budget for <br />Fiscal Year 2016-17 as presented in the attached document. <br />DISCUSSION <br />In accordance with Section 11.3 of the Joint Exercise of Powers Agreement (JPA), MRCA's <br />Preliminary Budget is submitted to the District for approval. The Preliminary Budget was <br />approved by MRCA on June 1, 2016 and Rancho Simi Recreation & Park District on June 2, <br />2016 and is scheduled to be approved by the SMMC Board at their meeting on June 27, 2016. <br />The preliminary budget submitted for the governing boards' consideration is the 2015-16 <br />adopted final budget, adjusted for an estimated amount reflecting the elimination of the MRCA <br />Interpretation Division and the expiration of Proposition A 1992 Service and Maintenance funds. <br />Please refer to the attached revenue and expense preliminary budgets for more information.
