June 2, 2016 Page 3 The Levy of the Annual Assessment for Landscape Maintenance District 92-1 (Rancho Conejo) Huffer opened the Public Hearing. Hare reported the resolution of intention to levy the assessments was adopted on April 21St. As the Notice for Public Hearing was not published timely for proper notification of the May 5th Public Hearing, the Board of Directors continued the Public Hearing until June 2"d. The Public Notice was published in the Ventura County Star on May 2"d. The assessment rate change recommended is from $78.12 to $86.53. It was moved by Gibson to adopt the resolution, with a change to Paragraph 3 that there be no increase. The motion died for want of a second. It was moved by Jones, seconded by Lange, and carried 4-1 (Gibson voting No) to adopt Resolution No. 060216-A Ordering the Levy of the Annual Assessment for LMD 92-1 (Ranch Conejo), that it be read in title only and all further readings be waived. B. Public Hearing to Consider Adoption of Resolution No. 060216-8 Ordering the Levy of the Annual Assessment for Landscape Maintenance District 94-1 (Dos Vientos) Huffer opened the Public Hearing. The Public Notice was published in the Ventura County Star on May 2nd. The assessment rate change recommended is from $299.89 to $302.08. It was moved by Gibson to adopt the Resolution, with a change to Paragraph 3 that there be no increase. The motion died for want of a second. It was moved by Lange, seconded by Holt, and carried 4-1 (Gibson voting No) to adopt Resolution No. 060216-B Ordering the Levy of the Annual Assessment for Landscape Maintenance District 94-1 (Dos Vientos), that it be read in title only and all further readings be waived. C. Adopt Resolution 060216-C Setting the Appropriation Amount Subject to Limitation, FY 2016-17 (Gann Limit) Lewanda reported this Resolution is brought to the Board annually. Gibson questioned the need for this resolution; Lewanda will investigate.
