1. <br />2. <br />3. <br />U, <br />5. <br />6. <br />CONEJO RECREATION AND PARK DISTRICT <br />BOARD OF DIRECTORS REGULAR MEETING <br />October 16, 2015 <br />7:30 PM <br />HILLCREST CENTER <br />MINUTES <br />CALL TO ORDER AND FLAG SALUTE <br />Jones called the meeting to order at 7:30 pm and Lange led the flag salute. <br />ROLL CALL <br />Directors Present: Holt, Huffer, Jones, Lange <br />Directors Absent: Gibson <br />(Gibson arrived 7:45 pm) <br />Staff Present: General Manager Friedl, Administrators Hare, Lewanda and Lindsey, and <br />Executive Assistant Reynders <br />SPECIAL PRESENTATIONS <br />Summer Camps — Dana Miller, Recreation Supervisor, Sports <br />Miller presented an overview of the summer sports camps programs offered through the District, <br />highlighting various sports such as field hockey, volleyball, and basketball, and the benefits derived <br />from community partnerships and local business affiliations. Camp numbers are up 1,000 <br />participants since 2011. Miller introduced her staff and acknowledged their hard work and <br />dedication. Board members thanked Miller for her informative presentation. <br />ITEMS FROM THE PUBLIC <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br />It was moved by Holt, seconded by Lange, and carried 4-0 to approve the agenda as <br />presented. <br />CONSENT CALENDAR <br />A. Approval of Minutes of October 1, 2015 Board Meeting <br />B. Approval of Warrants <br />Accounts Payable Check Registers Total $393,471.19 <br />Payroll $373,700.00 <br />It was moved by Huffer seconded by Holt, and carried 4-0 to approve the Consent <br />Calendar as presented. <br />
