CALL TO ORDER AND FLAG SALUTE <br />Gibson called the meeting to order at 7:32 pm and Huffer led the flag salute. <br />2. ROLL CALL <br />Directors Present: Gibson, Holt, Huffer, Jones, Lange <br />Directors Absent: <br />Staff Present: General Manager Friedl, Administrators Hare, Lewanda, Lindsey and <br />Executive Assistant Reynders <br />3. SPECIAL PRESENTATIONS <br />Service Awards <br />Marc Gann —15 Years <br />Wayne Robb —15 Years <br />Recipients were introduced, overviews of their professional and academic <br />accomplishments were presented, and they were thanked for their outstanding <br />contributions to the District. <br />Recipients thanked the Board, co-workers, and their families for their support, and <br />expressed appreciation for the award. <br />Directors congratulated and thanked recipients for their contributions and efforts on the <br />District's behalf. <br />Conejo Valley Botanic Garden <br />Beverly Brune, President of the Conejo Valley Botanic Garden, presented an overview of <br />the activities and completed projects at the Garden over the last year. Volunteers have <br />been integral to the success of a number of the projects, including trail construction and <br />the transformation of Sage Hill from three acres of mustard weed into a garden.
