CONEJO RECREATION AND PARK DISTRICT <br />BOARD OF DIRECTORS REGULAR MEETING <br />March 6, 2014 <br />7:30 PM <br />HILLCREST CENTER <br />MINUTES <br />1. CALL TO ORDER AND FLAG SALUTE <br />Gibson called the meeting to order at 7:32 p.m. and Lange led the flag salute. <br />2. ROLL CALL <br />Directors Present: Gibson, Holt, Huffer, Jones, Lange <br />Directors Absent: <br />Staff Present: General Manager Friedl, Administrators Hare, Lewanda and Lindsey <br />and Executive Assistant Reynders <br />3. SPECIAL PRESENTATIONS <br />Ron Block — Lego Event and Rotary Dreamcatcher Playground <br />Block reviewed the upcoming Lego Event to be held concurrently with Conejo Valley Days <br />on Saturday morning, May 10th and provided details, which will involve the community <br />participating in an attempt to help build a world record Lego chain. It is anticipated that a <br />groundbreaking will be held later this year for the Dreamcatcher Playground at Old <br />Meadows Park. Block answered Board member's questions and was thanked for his <br />efforts. <br />4. ITEMS FROM THE PUBLIC <br />Clint Matkovich, Thousand Oaks, provided comments about the Olsen Channel and the <br />Stagecoach Inn. <br />5. APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br />It was moved by Lange, seconded by Holt, and carried 5-0 to approve the agenda as <br />presented. <br />6. CONSENT CALENDAR <br />A. Approval of Minutes of February 6, 2014 Regular Board Meeting <br />
