Conejo Recreation ark District
GENERAL MANAGER
Jim Friedl
DATE: October 3, 2024
BOARD OF DIRECTORS
George M. The proposed easement
runs in a southern direction from the northeast corner of the east parcel of the now -developed park site and will
serve as a more direct access to existing SCE infrastructure. Historically, access to the existing infrastructure
was provided at the southern boundary of the east parcel.
The proposed permanent SCE easement for access consists of no improvements and will remain in its current
condition of native soil. The requested easement is 16' wide and approximately 300' long, and will be accessed
from the Paige Lane right-of-way via an existing service gate.
The easement will be non-exclusive with SCE and will be at no cost. It will ensure that SCE has sufficient access
to its electrical infrastructure to provide electrical supply for the community. The Access Easement Deed and
exhibits accompany this report for your consideration.
STRATEGIC PLAN COMPLIANCE
Meets 2024 Strategic Plan Element 4.2: Develop, maintain, and enhance relationships with other government
agencies serving our community such as the County of Ventura, national and state parks, Calleguas Municipal
Water District, Santa Monica Mountains Conservancy, Mountains Recreation and Conservation Authority, and
the City of Westlake Village.
Respectfully submitted by,
Andrew J.
