The original
Amendments, irrespective of when approved, run concurrently with the original lease when the
Option was exercised.
The current proposal includes the removal and replacement of the sports light pole with equipment
upgrades on the antenna pole and within the vault. Modification of the facility includes replacing
the pole approximately 10' from its current location due to current engineering requirements of
the proposed antenna — see Attachment 1. As the equipment does not have an increased visual
impact on the pole, the District is not proposing any additional rent. The total current rent is
$3,781.47.
The Third Amendment to Option and Lease Agreement (Attachment 2) serves as the applicable
document to effectuate this change and accompanies this report for Board review.
The approved lease agreement stipulates that the equipment must comply with all environmental
and industrial hygiene laws.
