Lange, Chair <br />Doug Nickles, Vice -Chair <br />Chuck Huffer, Director <br />Nellie Cusworth, Director <br />Marissa Buss, Director <br />GENERAL MANAGER EMERITUS <br />TO: Board of Directors Tex Ward <br />FROM: Jim Friedl, General Mana <br />SUBJECT: Coordinate Electric V icle Cha ing Opportunities with the City of Thousand <br />Oaks Public Works Depa ment at Various Park Locations <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Authorize staff to coordinate electric vehicle (EV) charging opportunities with the City of Thousand <br />Oaks Public Works Department at various park locations. <br />DISCUSSION <br />The City of Thousand Oaks Public Works Sustainability Division staff is reviewing opportunities <br />throughout the city to support EV charging. As the District has a multitude of properties <br />strategically positioned throughout the city boundary and many of these facilities have existing <br />parking lots, the city has requested our interest in possible future agreements at these desirable <br />locations. Upon coordination with the City, staff will return to the Board with detailed plans and <br />agreements for any required approvals. <br />STRATEGIC PLAN COMPLIANCE <br />Meets 2024 Strategic Plan Goal 4.1: Develop, maintain, and enhance relationships with <br />colleagues at the City of Thousand Oaks and the Conejo Valley Unified School District. Hold <br />periodic meetings with City and School District staff. <br />Meets 2024 Strategic Plan Goal 8.1: Balance environmental and economic factors and continue <br />the District's progress toward greater environmental stewardship and "sustainable" operations. <br />Respectfully submitted by, <br />Andrew J.
