AH four Amendments,
irrespective of when approved, run concurrently with the original lease when the Option was
exercised.
The current proposal includes upgrades on the antenna pole and within the vault. Modification of
the facility includes swapping the antennas for larger antennas, the addition of remote radio units
(RRUs) between the antennas, and installing a larger shroud cover — see Attachment 1. To
compensate for the visual impact on the pole, the District will receive an additional $500 per
month, bringing the total current rent, once construction begins, to $4,714.32.
The Fourth Amendment to Option and Lease Agreement (Attachment 2) serves as the appDocable
document to effectuate this change and accompanies this report for Board review.
The approved lease agreement stipulates that the equipment must comply with all environmental
and industrial hygiene laws.
