Parks Division Report <br />No report. <br />Recreation Division Report <br />Callis reported hiring for summer staff has begun; about 80 —100 people will be needed. <br />She shared news on the "Marketing and Communication Award of Excellence" that was <br />presented at the California Parks and Recreation Society (CPRS) Annual Conference <br />recently. "Bark in the Park" is on Saturday, March 16th. <br />C. Management Services Division Report <br />D. General Manager's Report <br />Friedl reported the Conejo Canyons Bridge Ribbon Cutting Ceremony date is still up <br />in the air; Reynders will notify Board members as soon as a decision is made. Friedl <br />attended the Kiwanis Club meeting yesterday, where he was presented with a check <br />made out to Play Conejo for $3,100. The next Board meeting will be a Special Meeting <br />consisting of a field trip to various sites in the District. The tour will start and end at <br />Hillcrest Center. <br />i <br />OM rectors Reports and Follow-up Reports on Meetings/Conferences Attendeg <br />Nickles and Huffer attended a Conejo Open Space Conservation Agency Board Meeting <br />on February 21st where new Board member, Dorothy Sullivan, was seated. Nickles, <br />Huffer, Cusworth and Buss attended the Conejo Creek North Park Playground Ribbon <br />Cutting on February 24th. Nickles attended a California Association of Recreation and Park <br />Districts (CARPD) Legislative Committee Meeting and a CARPD Conference Committee <br />Meeting. He and Buss attended an Ad Hoc Conejo Creek Master Plan meeting earlier this <br />
