With 14 Swim Instructors on the weekends alone, we serve over 200 participants in our swim lessons. This current weekend session will run for a total of 5 weeks, ending on March 24.
Hillcrest Center for the Arts
Elementary Music Program
The spring semester of Elementary Music program has begun. Currently we have 97 Expanded Learning Opportunity Program (ELOP) registrations. We have provided financial assistance for 64 band and 26 strings families and 93 chorus families. The programs have a total of 392 band students, 268 strings students, and 1,054 chorus students currently enrolled. The chorus programs are learning their own songs or musicals (unique to each school or teacher) as well as 4 songs for the All-District Chorus Festival. The Chorus festival is celebrating 20 years and doing a Broadway theme for the Elementary Music and finale pieces.
