Lange, Chair <br />Doug Nickles, Vice -Chair <br />Chuck Huffer, Director <br />Nellie Cusworth, Director <br />Marissa Buss, Director <br />GENERAL MANAGER EMERITUS <br />Tex Ward <br />TO: Board of Directors <br />FROM: Jim Friedl, General MantLing <br />SUBJECT: Resolution No. 03072 - the Submittal of the Older Americans <br />Act Grant Application to Ventura County Area Agency on Aging (VCAAA) for <br />Project Year July 1, 2024 — June 30, 2025 <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Approve Resolution No. 030724-A authorizing submittal of the Older Americans Act Grant Application. <br />BACKGROUND <br />The District assumed responsibility for administration of the Senior Nutrition Program from the City of <br />Thousand Oaks in July 2010. The congregate lunch program is conducted from 11:30am to 12:30pm, <br />Monday though Friday at the Goebel Adult Community Center. The dining room seats 56 people at one <br />time; and an average of 60 patrons are served daily.
