Attachment 2 <br />General Manager Benefits <br />Conejo Recreation and Park Dista ct <br />__(As of _, December 7, 2023) <br />The General Manager is entitled to all benefits (including, but not limited to: health and <br />dental insurance plans, PERS retirement plan, holidays and leave accruals, option to <br />participate in flexible health and dependant care spending accounts) available to <br />Administrator employees as the Board may be amend from time to time, however, the <br />retirement, resignation or termination of an Administrator employee with certain benefits (for <br />example, but not limited to, postemployment retirement medical benefit), which benefits had <br />applied to the General Manager, but will not apply to that former employee's new <br />replacement shall not be deemed amended by the Board and removed as a General Manager <br />benefit, with the additional benefits as provided below <br />Retiree Medical Insurance. The previously employed and now retired General <br />Manager and Administrators after working for 10 years and retiring from the <br />District received a retiree medical insurance benefit upon retirement. This benefit <br />was eliminated for new employees beginning in 2009 and grandfathered in for <br />existing employees District will pay health insurance premium at retirement <br />(at the same level as the pre -retirement amount*) and reimbursement of the <br />standard Medicare premium, if any. <br />*which includes CaIPERS health premium for self and eligible dependents <br />(if enrolled at the time of retirement) <br />Community Service Allowance: <br />General Manager shall receive up to $100 per month for participation in a <br />community service organization of his choosing. <br />Deferred Compensation: <br />The District shall annually contribute $7,680 OR 33% of the Internal Revenue <br />Code section 457 normal contribution limit as may be amended from time to time as a <br />contribution to either the General Manager's Internal Revenue Code section 457 or <br />401(a) deferred compensation plan. General Manager shall no longer receive executive compensation. <br />3. The District shall pay for the following General Manager benefits at District's <br />expense- <br />a. <br />xpense: <br />a. Car Allowance: $500/month <br />b. Life Insurance: $150/month <br />C. Wellness Program: $50/month <br />Vision: $300/year <br />Vacation: <br />General Manager has earned and is capped on receiving annual vacation at a <br />rate of 30 days per year. Prior to December 31 of each year, the General Manager's <br />unused aggregate vacation hours in excess of 1080 hours shall be converted to <br />compensation at the General Manager's then prevailing hourly salary rate and paid to <br />the General Manager in a lump sum. <br />GENERAL MANAGER EMPLOYMENT AGREEMENT <br />2128/2 12/7/2023 <br />
