She presented a PowerPoint which
illustrated a typical weekend at the Garden and shared examples of ongoing projects,
highlighting those that were made possible through CRPD's matching grant program,
such as the LFCG Office and the Giving Garden. Recent Eagle Scout projects include
the Butterfly House and the Friendship/Memorial Garden. The Garden provides classes,
volunteer opportunities and continues to work on community outreach. There are
presently 157 leased lots; each lot costs $75 per year and there are 80 — 100 people on
a plot waitlist. Sundell answered Board member's questions and was thanked for her
informative presentation.
It was moved by Huffer, seconded by Nickles, and carried 5-0 to approve the agenda
as amended, i.e., eliminate Agenda Item 9A.
