Recreation & Community Services <br />Recreation Division Highlights Page 1 of 5 Revised 12.2022 <br /> <br />Recreation Division Highlights <br />Thursday, December 29, 2022 <br /> <br />Aquatic Recreation <br />Polar Bear Plunge <br />On Saturday December 17, the Community Pool at CLU hosted the Polar Bear Plunge, which brought in 45 participants. These daring swimmers went for a run up Mountclef Ridge, then jumped in the chilly winter waters of the Community Pool at CLU, before drying off to enjoy refreshments. Some enjoyed the chilly water so much, that many participants stayed in the pool for some recreational swimming. Both participants and staff had a great time celebrating the upcoming new year and holiday season. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Dos Vientos Community Center <br />Holiday Fun Winter Camps <br />Winter Camps at the Dos Vientos Center brought so much fun to our community. Participants were able to choose between four types of camps: Baking Camp, Archery Camp, Dance/Gymnastics Camp, or Winter Adventure Camp. Campers experienced how to shoot arrows at targets, go on hikes, play games, learned balance beam/tumbling work, and created yummy baked treats. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
