Recreation Division Report <br />Callis provided some facts and figures based on questions received after Nava's <br />Homeschool presentation at the last Board meeting. She expressed her deep <br />appreciation for Holt's work on behalf of the Conejo Coalition for Youth and Families. <br />; TJ 6 <br />0_1 k 9 111 <br />Smith reported she has received two proposals for a Class and Compensation study; <br />they are currently under review, and she will bring a recommendation to the Board of <br />Directors at the next meeting on December 15th <br />D. General Manager's Report <br />Friedl thanked the staff, especially the Recreation Division, for all their hard work that <br />resulted in an amazing 60th Birthday Event — including the video, the Acorn newspaper <br />insert, etc. He said there was a need for a Closed Session this evening with no report <br />expected. He attended a California Association of Park and Recreation Indemnity <br />(CAPRI) Board meeting in Jurupa yesterday and today. <br />E. Directors Reports and Follow-up Reports on Meetings/Conferences Attendei-i- <br />All five Board members enjoyed attending the 60th anniversary event at Conejo Creek <br />South Park. Huffer thanked AYSO #9 for helping out with the beverage portion of the <br />celebration. Nickles and Lange attended a Rancho Potrero Ad Hoc Committee Meeting. <br />Lange attended one regular and two special Mountains Recreation and Conservation <br />Authority Board (MRCA) meetings. Cusworth attended a Stagecoach Inn Board <br />meeting.
